Ascension is seeking a Nocturnist to join an established inpatient team in Maryland. You will provide comprehensive care for adult patients from evening admission through discharge, supported by a strong network of on-call specialists and the system’s resources.

The position is fully employed within a nonprofit health system. Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine; Maryland licensure and DEA registration eligible.

Competenze

• MD or DO degree required; Maryland medical licensure needed.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine preferred.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) required or preferred per facility guidelines.

Mansioni

• Document admission notes, daily progress, and discharge summaries in real time.
• Direct inpatient care for adults from admission through discharge, with ICU transitions when needed.
• Adhere to clinical guidelines and contribute to development of best-practice protocols to improve patient outcomes.
