Job summary

TeamHealth seeks a full-time nocturnist emergency medicine physician for Abrazo Surprise Hospital in Surprise, AZ. This overnight ED position offers a lower-volume, lower-acuity environment with strong clinical support and a manageable pace.

Responsibilities include overnight coverage (6pm–6am), evaluating and stabilizing patients, coordinating transfers to Abrazo Arrowhead Campus, and collaborating with APC staff. Join a team that values clinical excellence and physician support.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with EM experience.
• Comfortable working independently in overnight settings.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overnight emergency medicine coverage from 6pm–6am.
• Evaluate, stabilize and manage ED patients.
• Coordinate transfers for higher-acuity patients to Abrazo Arrowhead Campus.
• Collaborate with APC staff and hospital medicine teams.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a community setting.
