Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) NOC Technician III to support DISA-provided GIG capabilities in a 24x7 Global Operations Center. The role is onsite at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, with shift work including nights and weekends.

Requires DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification and a high school diploma. Responsibilities include network problem resolution via ServiceNow, circuit analysis for TDM and SIP trunks, and proactive monitoring to maintain maximum network

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in network operations or similar.
• Technical: Understanding of voice infrastructure and IP network topologies.
• Certifications: DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline (e.g., Security+ CE) before start date.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and resolve network problems using ServiceNow.
• Notify contacts about network incidents affecting circuits or locations.
• Manage network operations including config and analysis of TDM and SIP trunks.
• Work with customers to ensure maximum network availability.
• Monitor network alarms with management tools and provide timely situational updates.
• Document outages, degradations, isolations, and resolutions in incident management systems.
• Perform configuration maintenance on route plans and device profiles.
• Assess incidents and contribute to solutions and processes for network operations.
