Spring Gardens Assisted Living in Meridian, ID is hiring MED TECHS/CAREGIVER/CNA roles for night shifts. Join a team dedicated to compassionate, personalized care and a supportive work environment where residents' well-being comes first.

Duties include developing care plans, administering medications, documenting ADLs, responding to alarms, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. Full-time employees receive competitive pay and benefits including PTO, 401k, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Must hold state medication pass certification and complete delegation requirements.
• Word processing skills required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications, and Food Handlers permit as required by state regulations.
• Must complete all state required trainings as necessary.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience

Responsibilities

• The Med Tech assists in developing, coordinating, and performing the tasks on the service plan according to the resident’s preferences and abilities
• Maintains and documents in the Medication Assistance Record
• Read and implement care/activities of daily living (ADLs) according to the resident service plan
• Respond to resident needs, pendant calls, and other community alarms in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates empathy and develops caring rapport with residents. Promotes resident independence and self-care.
• Delivers care and services in accordance with individual service plan for all assigned residents.
• Maintains accurate and complete records of care delivered.
• Completes incident reports accurately and timely. Understands policies pertaining to safety and infection control and demonstrates practices to control the spread of communicable illnesses. Promotes a clean, orderly, and safe environment. Assist housekeeping and maintenance staff to keep the community and resident property clean.
• Recognizes, responds to, and reports concerns in resident's environment to ensure safety and comfort of resident.
