Job summary

VC3, Inc. is looking for a NOC Analyst I to join our Technology Operations team in a remote capacity across the United States. This entry-level role focuses on monitoring and maintaining our networks and systems to ensure uptime and performance.

You will learn to troubleshoot issues, document changes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while developing skills through on‑the‑job experience and formal training. A growth mindset and reliable communication are valued traits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with network and system monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network and system performance using monitoring tools.
• Identify and troubleshoot network and system issues, escalate as necessary.
• Perform basic system and network configurations and deployments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement solutions.
• Monitor and respond to alerts from monitoring tools.
• Communicate issues to internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours incidents as needed.
• Ensure tickets are properly created and notated to account for time.
• Manage workload and ensure SLAs are met.
• Additional duties as required.

The Impact you will have: We are seeking a NOC Analyst I to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our network and systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime. This entry-level position offers the opportunity for growth and development within our organization.

What you will be doing:

• Monitor network and system performance using various monitoring tools and software.
• Identify and troubleshoot network and system issues, escalating as necessary.
• Perform basic system and network configurations and deployments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network and system configurations and changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement solutions.
• Monitor and respond to alerts and notifications generated by our network and system monitoring tools.
• Provide timely and effective communication of network and system issues to internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and respond to after‑hours incidents as needed.
• Ensure Tickets are properly created and notated to account for time
• Manage personal workload and ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Additional duties as required

The tools you bring:

• Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with network and system monitoring tools; ConnectWise Ticketing, OpenDNS, Kaseya VSA, and PRTG a plus.
• Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Basic understanding of server and operating system concepts, including Windows and Linux.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team‑oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
