Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking Trauma Surgeons in Egg Harbor Township, NJ to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with options for full-time or part-time work, and a focus on preserving surgical skills within a premium wound care context.

The position emphasizes physician autonomy, reduced after-hours demand, and the opportunity to impact patient healing across facilities under a supportive group practice.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited school.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the practicing state (or eligible).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including pressure injuries and post-surgical wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post‑acute settings, following patients through healing.
