Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Stockton, CA is seeking a General Surgeon to join our no-call, weekday-focused practice. You will lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area, with option for full-time or part-time schedules and competitive compensation.

Open to MD or DO, state medical license, and DEA license eligibility. No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in California (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Apply advanced dressings and wound care protocols.
• Collaborate with care teams in skilled nursing facilities to monitor healing.
