Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Arlington, VA is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. This full-time or part-time role offers a no-call schedule, clinical autonomy, and hands-on procedures with comprehensive training.

You will evaluate and treat chronic wounds, perform debridement and advanced dressings, and collaborate with facility staff to drive healing outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background with comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Apply advanced dressings and follow specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborate with facilities and post-acute teams to monitor healing.
