Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Austin, TX is seeking a Bariatric Surgeon to join a no-call, Monday-Friday practice that preserves evenings and weekends for family life. You may choose part-time or full-time, with compensation ranging from $250,000 to $500,000 per year for full-time contractors.

You will maintain surgical skills with debridement and bedside procedures while leading wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcomed; no wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures in patient care.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, following patients through healing.
