Intel Corporation in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Planar Module Engineer to drive tooling performance and process improvements on 300mm Planar manufacturing toolsets at Fab 11X. You will own toolset health, monitor metrics, and support technology transfers on the factory floor.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing teams to enable high-volume manufacturing goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering STEM field with 3+ years of experience or Master's with 1+ year.
• Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing ramps and technology transfer in Planar modules.
• Sustaining and optimizing Planar manufacturing toolsets and equipment.
• Proven track record improving equipment availability, defectivity, yield, and manufacturing performance.
• Strong troubleshooting and data-analysis skills in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and sustain assigned Planar toolsets, ensuring safety and Copy Exactly standards.
• Monitor process control charts, equipment performance, and production metrics.
• Drive MOR availability and tool matching performance.
• Support new technology introductions via installations, conversions, qualifications and ramp activities.
• Lead improvements in tool health, stability, yield, cycle time, and factory output.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance for successful tech transfers.

As a **Planar Module Engineer** within the **New Mexico Advanced Packaging Fab 11X**, you will play a critical role in supporting and advancing high-volume manufacturing operations. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hands-on problem solving, process optimization, and driving manufacturing excellence at the point of activity on the factory floor.In this role, you will be responsible for the overall performance, health, and continuous improvement of one or more 300mm manufacturing toolsets. Key responsibilities include:* Owning and sustaining assigned toolsets, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and adherence to Copy Exactly standards.* Monitoring process control charts, equipment performance, and production metrics to maintain stable, excursion-free operations.* Driving Model of Record (MOR) availability and achieving world-class tool matching performance.* Supporting new technology introductions through equipment installations, conversions, qualifications, and production ramp activities.* Developing and executing improvement roadmaps focused on equipment health, process stability, yield enhancement, and operational efficiency.* Leading initiatives to improve tool availability, cycle time, defectivity performance, and overall factory output.* Collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance teams to enable successful technology transfers and high-volume manufacturing goals. Because Fab 11X operates in a high-volume manufacturing environment, this role may also include process development activities at the module level to support factory performance, technology readiness, and production objectives.
