Solution One Industries seeks a Logistics Supervisor for our Williamsburg, VA site. The role leads contract logistics, oversees warehouse operations, and ensures safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with holidays observed.

The candidate will direct program personnel, manage hiring and training, and foster a collaborative, high-performance environment while ensuring timely, accurate execution of all contract requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of medical logistics and warehouse management experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

About the position

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for the performance of the contract in all warehouse activities regarding receiving and production. The Logistics Supervisor ensures contractual compliance, mission success, and customer satisfaction by providing strong leadership, sound decision‑making, and effective communication.

The Logistics Supervisor must be available Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding Federal holidays or government facility closures.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Program Oversight

• The Logistics Supervisor provides strategic direction and leadership to ensure the successful execution of all contract requirements in their Area of Responsibilities (AOR).
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain open communication with leadership and clients to proactively address challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain succession planning for key personnel.

Operational Management

• Ensure adherence to site safety protocols and enforce compliance with established procedures.
• Oversee daily logistics operations, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and workflow efficiency.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), taking corrective action when performance is outside target thresholds.
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with contractual obligations.

Personnel Management

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate program personnel to ensure high performance and engagement.
• Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and training activities.
• Conduct performance evaluations and administer disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Promote career development and employee retention initiatives.

Qualifications: Required Skills and Competencies

• Proven leadership and management experience in logistics, maintenance, or engineering environments.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Physical and Special Requirements

• Ability to work at an accelerated pace under emergencies or operational demands.
• Candidate must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Requirements include walking, standing, reaching, bending, and moving items.
• Required to lift and carry weight over 45 pounds.
• Must be able to work in an Austere environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in medical logistics and warehouse management operations.
• Must possess and current valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to understand, read, and write in the English language
