Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare in the United States is seeking physician coverage for an inpatient/outpatient practice in New Mexico. The assignment includes day and night coverage with a 30-minute call response time and potential for additional days.

Expect 15-18 patients per shift, 3-5 phone consults per 24 hours, and leave coverage. Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance and prepaid travel and housing expenses, plus 24-hour access to a Weatherby consultant.

Job description

• Night call: 5:30 pm - 9:00 am -- weekend call: 8:00 am - 8:00 am
• Day coverage: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
• 15 - 18 patients per shift
• Inpatient practice setting -- both inpatient and outpatient rounding
• Avg call per 24 hours: 3 - 5 phone consults, 0 - 5 patients seen
• Fellowship training preferred
• 30-minute call response time required
• Leave coverage with potential for additional days
