MBZUAI seeks a Research Scientist specializing in NLP and large language models to advance language processing technologies. You will conduct research, develop NLP solutions, and implement them using Python and ML frameworks.

Based in Sunnyvale, CA, you will collaborate with researchers and engineers, publish findings, and help advance MBZUAI's global leadership in AI research and HPC capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• PhD or equivalent research experience in NLP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead research to improve efficiency of Large Language Models and support multiple capabilities.
• Design and implement NLP algorithms for model training, prediction, and data processing using ML frameworks.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design/code reviews to ensure best practices.
