Job summary

KBR’s National Security Solutions team seeks a Data Scientist to develop and deploy NLP and ML solutions that support national security missions. You will work on state-of-the-art language models, information extraction, and text analytics using Python, PyTorch, and Hugging Face in an on-site environment.

The role requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Travel is minimal; a strong collaboration mindset and ability to translate complex data into

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph.
• 10+ years of experience in NLP and ML.
• Experience with Python NLP libraries: SpaCy, Gensim, or NLTK.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
• Experience with Hugging Face Transformers for NLP tasks.
• Experience building text classification and topic modeling models.
• Proficient in SQL for large dataset analysis.
• Experience using GPUs for accelerated computing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy NLP solutions using SpaCy, Gensim, and NLTK.
• Design, train, evaluate, and optimize models with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras.
• Leverage Hugging Face Transformers for language models and text analytics.
• Create models for text classification and topic modeling.
• Conduct advanced statistical analysis on personnel and performance metrics.
• Utilize SQL to query and analyze large data sources.
• Leverage GPUs to accelerate training and inference.
