Job summary

Quantifind seeks a Data Scientist to advance as both scientist and engineer, applying statistics and CS to NLP tasks like Entity Resolution and Document Classification. You'll work with a fast-growing team in a hybrid Palo Alto setting, solving high-impact financial crimes problems.

You will collaborate across Product and Platform teams, building scalable ML solutions while maintaining high scientific standards. A strong communicator with a hands-on mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 2 years of professional industry experience.
• Proficient in two or more of the following: Scala / Java, Python, R.
• Outstanding quantitative and analytical ability.
• Experience with NLP methods such as Word/Context Embeddings, NER, Topic Modeling, Document Classification.
• Ability to apply software engineering practices to build scalable ML pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Translate real-world problems into quantitative language and models.
• Develop algorithms and implement them in production-ready code.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Technology teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Work on large-scale NLP projects and ML pipelines on millions of records.
