Job summary

Jim Shorkey Auto Group’s Gainesville Nissan location is seeking a Nissan Certified Technician. The role is a Flat Rate Technician position with a focus on diagnosing and repairing a broad range of vehicle systems.

You will communicate with service advisors and stay updated on repair techniques while maintaining safety and quality. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on automotive experience, Nissan Certification, and a valid driver’s license, with availability to work Saturdays.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on automotive experience.
Nissan Certification required.
Proficiency with alignment systems, diagnostic tools, and AC machines.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems including engines, brakes, steering, suspension, transmission, air conditioning, and more.
Perform high-quality repairs that meet dealership and manufacturer standards.
Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle status and repair timelines.
Stay current with the latest technical information and repair techniques.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
