Job summary

GDI, Inc. is seeking a reliable cleaner for a 6:00 PM to 1:30 AM shift. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors, operating floor cleaning equipment such as buffer, walk-behind, and spot-carpet cleaners, and maintaining the cleanliness of buildings.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently with good judgment and high integrity. Experience is preferred, and the candidate must follow safety and quality standards, keep supplies

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean floors by sweeping mopping scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Use floor cleaning equipment as needed (i.e. buffer, walk behind, spot-carpet cleaner).
• Operate Tennant ride-on scrubbers (T-7, M-17 and M20).
• General cleaning of buildings, keeping it maintained and in good condition.
• Empty wastebaskets and take other trash to disposal areas.
• Sanitize restrooms and fill dispensers.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Spot clean glass partitions, window blinds and mirrors.
• Dust furniture, walls, woodwork, windowsills, equipment and other assigned areas.
• Mix cleaning solutions according to specifications.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
• Perform other duties and tasks assigned by supervision.
