Job summary

Sinclair, Inc. in Baltimore is seeking a Nightside PM Executive Producer to oversee fairness and accuracy in news content and lead daily newscasts. You will work with producers and reporters on coverage, guiding storytelling under tight deadlines and leading by example.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years producing in a television news environment or equivalent.
• A college degree in Journalism or a related field is preferred.

Job description

WBFF/WNUV has an immediate opening for Nightside PM Executive Producer to oversee news content for overall fairness, balance and accuracy. The ideal candidate will produce daily newscasts and oversee production of newscasts and special programming. You will work closely with producers and reporters on daily selection and coverage. As a newsroom leader, the expectation is that the Executive Producer will lead by example.

Some Additional Responsibilities Of Our Executive Producer Will Include

What skills do you need to be successful in our role?

• Proven track record of creating compelling and engaging stories across multiple platforms
• Ability to preform well under pressure, experience managing breaking news and meeting strict deadlines
• Ability to identity problems and provide solutions
• A strong commitment to journalistic standards and ethics
• Extraordinary people skills with an emphasis on coaching and motivating
• Strong understanding of how to drive digital traffic
• Minimum of 5 (years exp) producing in a television news environment or equivalent
• A college degree in Journalism or a related field is preferred
• Strong writing skills and a proven track record for getting results on initiatives

The base salary compensation range for this role is $69,360 to $86,700. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, quarterly and annual incentive plan bonuses, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
