Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift hospital position in Aurora, Colorado. The assignment is 13 weeks long, with 36 hours per week scheduled as 3x12 hour nights, in a 350-bed hospital.

The role requires RRT or CRT credentials, active state license if applicable, and recent acute care experience. Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS) are required and prior experiences with Meditech EMR and ventilator equipment are preferred.

Qualifications

• RRT or CRT credential through NBRC is required.
• Active state license required if applicable.
• Minimum 6 months of current acute care RRT hospital experience within the last 6 months.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
• AHA or ARC certifications accepted; none expiring within first 30 days of start.
• PEDS/NICU/PICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ventilator management and airway management procedures.
• Work as part of an energetic, team-oriented staff with a strong focus on patient experience.
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
