Job summary

BD is seeking a dedicated Production Operator for night shift in Columbus, NE. The role involves operating equipment, performing inspections, and ensuring quality and GMP compliance. You will read, write, and speak English and collaborate with a team to meet production goals while following safety regulations.

Your duties include data entry in SAP/MES, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, and a HS diploma or GED is commonly required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED preferred; two years manufacturing experience accepted in lieu.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work in a team and follow GMP standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in department safely and produce quality products per documentation.
• Perform visual inspections and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform changeovers, line clearance and cleaning.
• Achieve production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment.
• Maintain quality and GMP standards and perform SAP data entries.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and participate in blitz teams as needed.
