Job summary

Emory Healthcare in Georgia is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care under physician supervision. The role includes evaluating patients, documenting care, and participating in treatment planning.

You will perform physical examinations, order labs, educate patients, and collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans. Must hold active Georgia licensure and NP/PA certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current Georgia APRN license and ANCC certification or NCCPA for PA.
• Licensed to practice in Georgia.
• May require 1 year of direct experience in high-acuity clinical specialties.
• PALS, BLS, or ACLS may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and treatment of patients.
• Document the delivery of care in medical records.
• Under physician supervision, perform exams and procedures.
• Order, schedule and/or perform labs and imaging.
• Educate patients on health habits, follow-up care, and medications.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans.
