Job summary
Citizens Medical Center in Victoria, TX seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for night shifts to support licensed nurses in delivering compassionate nursing care and daily living activities. Qualifications
- Completion of State of Texas approved nursing assistant course.
- Current Texas Department of Health certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification as required by the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed nurses in delivering quality nursing care and activities of daily living.
- Record vital signs, weights and ADLs in the medical record.
- Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
- Participate in unit performance improvement initiatives.
- Maintain patient safety and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and hospital policies.
