Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for night shift coverage (7:00pm–7:30am) on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The role involves delivering patient care using the nursing process, performing assessments, planning and evaluating care, and coordinating with the health care team.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, and prior L&D experience. A Diploma in Nursing or ADN is required, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where practicing
• BLS required at hire for RSFH locations
• L&D experience preferred for this role

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop a care plan.
• Administer medications safely per policies and procedures.
• Coordinate care with health team members and serve as patient care contact.
• Participate in quality improvement to enhance patient safety.
