Job summary

Hy-Vee is hiring for a Checker/Stocker to help run the front end and keep the store stocked. The role involves welcoming customers, scanning and paying for items, and bagging groceries while ensuring shelves are well-stocked and organized.

Night and weekend shifts are required. Training is provided, and safety guidelines are emphasized to maintain a friendly, efficient shopping environment for our customers.

Qualifications

• No formal education or experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers and making their visit great.
• Operate the cash register and process payments including cash, checks, cards, coupons, and government benefits.
• Stock shelves, bag groceries, rotate merchandise and keep shelves clean and well-presented.
• Assist in store operations and promotions while following safety and policy guidelines.
