Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile.
• Operate the cash register accurately, scanning products and processing all payment types.
• Count back change, issue receipts, and provide refunds or credit memos as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines regarding WIC, food stamps, tobacco, liquor, and lottery tickets.
• Stock, bag, and rotate merchandise; assist with drive-up and carry-out service.
• Stay knowledgeable of item lookup numbers and weekly sale items.
• Keep the register area clean and report improper cash levels.
