Responsibilities

• Prepare work area by clearing the truck loading area and setting up loading rollers.
• Stage palletized orders to the loading area.
• Follow directions of the Truck Loading Crew Chief.
• Scan specific orders for loading and count items.
• Carry products to the rear of the truck and stack carefully.
• Assist pickers between loads as needed.
• Clean up the work area.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Job Details

• Work area preparation: clearing of the truck loading area and setting up loading rollers.
• Staging of palletized orders to the loading area.
• Following the direction of the Truck Loading Crew Chief.
• Identify and scan specific orders for loading.
• Count cigarettes and mark cigarette count sheets within view of camera system.
• Advance (carry, convey, etc.) product to the rear of the truck.
• Stack product carefully to prevent damage.
• Assist pickers between loads, as needed.
• Work area cleanup.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Skilled in the use of pallet jacks (manual and motorized).
