Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Training Specialist to onboard and continually train warehouse staff, including selectors, forklift operators and loaders. You will use training guides and safety standards to drive compliant, efficient performance across shifts.

Responsibilities include hands-on instruction, developing training plans, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with leadership to ensure consistent training practices that support cost control and operational goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of order selection experience within the company or 2+ years overall.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Responsible for training and/or re-training order selectors, forklift operators, loaders, and other warehouse associates on all aspects of position job duties. Utilizes company training guides, manuals, checklists, and processes to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Performs preferred work method observations and provides verbal and written feedback on trainee performance, including suggested development actions. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

• Identify skill gaps and recommend development plans or re-training as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure consistent training standards across shifts and departments.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Work Experience:

• 1 - 3 Years - At least 1 year of order selection experience within the company or 2+ years of order selection experience overall
