Job summary

Midwest Refrigerated Services, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Belvidere, IL. You will supervise warehouse staff, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and ensure quality and productivity in daily operations.

Responsibilities include addressing issues with customers and drivers, managing OS&D claims, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role requires strong leadership, forklift and RF inventory familiarity, and the ability to coordinate with multiple management

Qualifications

• Must have strong basic computer and math skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to follow and give clear instructions.
• Proven leadership and teamwork in fast-paced environments.
• Experience interacting with various levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and support to shipping office personnel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs.
• Address issues with customers, carriers, and drivers.
• Manage OS&D claims and documentation for accessorial charges.
• Oversee staff performance and disciplinary actions.
• Contribute to hiring and staffing decisions.
• Attend meetings and training outside regular hours.
• Provide coverage for other supervisors when needed.
