Job summary

US Foods in Houston is seeking a Warehouse Order Picker to safely select customer orders, build and wrap pallets, and use order selecting software and equipment.

Strong physical stamina and the ability to read and communicate in English are required. Night shifts (8+ hours) and flexible weekend work may be needed; previous warehouse pallet jack experience is preferred. Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts (Sun–Thu; some weekends/holidays may be required).
• Experience with high endurance or highly physical activity preferred.
• Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jacks or similar equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders.
• Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet.
• Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment.
• Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free.
• Efficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wrap palletized orders.
