Job summary

US FOODS® is hiring a Night Warehouse Selector in the Austin area. You will safely select and palletize customer orders, operate electric pallet jacks, and transfer products to pallets using order selecting software.

The role requires the ability to work a 4 PM start time Sunday to Thursday in a dynamic warehouse setting. Responsibilities include pre-shift checks, stacking, staging, and collaborating with teammates to maintain clean aisles.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings and enter information
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday - Thursday with occasional weekends/holidays
• Recent experience in high endurance or highly physical activity is preferred
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Selecting: Safely and accurately select customer orders, confirming that selected products are correct and undamaged
• Palletizing: Construct and wrap pallets to meet weekly productivity and accuracy standards
• Operation: Conduct pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate electric pallet jacks
• Fulfillment: Transfer products from racks to pallets using order selecting software
• Staging: Transport products to the designated dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders
• Collaborate: Work with the team to maintain clean and safe aisles and return equipment to the charging area
• Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management
