Job summary

New West Distributing in Sparks, NV is hiring a Warehouse Order Picker to accurately select, prepare, and organize customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse. The role uses picking systems, RF scanners, and forklift equipment to ensure orders are complete, on time, and meet safety standards.

Essential duties include quality checks, pallet handling, and maintaining a clean work area. Benefits begin after 90 days for full-time staff and include comprehensive health coverage and a 401K

Qualifications

• Organize, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail under deadlines (fast-paced warehouse).
• Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and communicate professionally.
• Forklift experience and safe forklift procedures are required.
• Proficient with computer basics: Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Select, prepare and organize customer orders for shipment.
• Use picking systems and scanners to complete orders accurately and on schedule.
• Perform quality checks on pallets and items pulled by the team.
• Load/unload pallets using forklift and route matching, ensuring safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist with additional shipping tasks as needed.
