Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Warehouse Night associate to pick customer orders in the warehouse. You will work with the SAE-Scanning system to locate items, use a forklift or pallet jack, and place orders on pallets for loading at the outbound dock.

Responsibilities include order selection in freezer areas, scanning, material handling, and adhering to safety practices. Must be able to stand, walk, and lift heavy items while maintaining the 200 cases per hour standard by the end of the

Qualifications

• Clean Driving Record required.
• Must be able to walk extensively.
• Must stand for long periods (8–10 hours).
• Must bend at the waist and squat to reach into slot locations.
• SAE-Scanning or similar systems experience preferred but not required.
• Must read slot numbers and product descriptions.
• Material handling equipment experience required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass drug screen and physical exam.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).

Responsibilities

• The Warehouse Night position is responsible for selecting customer orders in the warehouse.
• Orders are pulled from stock using selection labels; scanning system is used.
• Operator uses forklift and pallet jack to move items.
• Repetitive lifting and shrink-wrapping orders onto pallets.
• Pallets are arranged in delivery stop sequence and moved to outbound dock for loading.
