Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Loader to efficiently load outbound orders into designated tractor trailers in accordance with company procedures and safety standards. You will help drivers by ensuring products are safely stowed, organized, and ready for the day’s deliveries.

The role requires basic warehouse experience, the ability to read load diagrams, and pallet jack certification. You will work Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday 6:30pm until completion, with overtime opportunities and competitive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one year warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be pallet jack certified; good attention to detail; ability to read load diagrams; basic mathematical skills.
• Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trailer inspection before loading to insure trailer is clean, has the proper temperature and is ready for loading.
• Ensure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.
• Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading.
• Load trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and are secured. Also, confirm load diagram is completed and submitted.
• Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area.
