Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. seeks a dedicated Utility Services worker to maintain the facility and grounds in a food-processing environment. Responsibilities include cleaning warehouses, yard upkeep, trash removal, and assisting with housekeeping to uphold company standards.

Shift is Sunday–Thursday, 11:00pm–7:30am. Candidates must be able to lift up to 100 pounds, work outdoors in temperature extremes, and obtain forklift certification. Poultry/food processing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Outdoor work in temperature extremes and dusty environments.
• Able to pass forklift written and driving test if needed.
• Preferred experience in poultry or food processing.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Removes empty bags and trash from the warehouse.
• Sweeps warehouse floor and cleans areas around ramp and dumpsters.
• Keeps yard, driveways and grounds neat; checks receiving scales.
• Maintains cleanliness around manlift and related equipment.
• Performs general housekeeping to minimize dust and webs; maintains safety practices.
