Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment requiring ARRT(R) certification. The night shift runs 23:00–7:30, with a 3x12 schedule and no on-call requirements.

The role covers adult and pediatric imaging across abdomen, chest, extremities, spine, pelvis, and head, using portable and C-arm procedures. PACS and Cerner experience are preferred; licensure may be required in some states.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Radiology/X-Ray.
• ARRT(R) and BLS certification required.
• Prior travel experience required.
• Proficiency in infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• X-Ray Tech unit within an acute care hospital setting.
• Adult and pediatric acute care and outpatient patient populations.
• Procedures include abdomen, chest, extremity, spine, pelvis, and head imaging.
• Performs bedside/portable and C-arm procedures.
• Uses PACS imaging system.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• Night shift, 3x12 hours from 23:00 to 7:30.
• Monday through Friday schedule with no call requirement.
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple body systems including abdomen, chest, extremities, spine, and head
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival which includes marijuana testing, with a positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
• Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
• First-time travelers may be considered
