Job summary
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for Telemetry/Stepdown in Wisconsin, nights 3x12s. Requires 2+ years PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry and WI or compact RN license. This assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours weekly, start Sep 27, 2026.
You'll float within your skill set and nearby sites, with Epic EMR, and must have travel nursing experience. Competitive weekly pay and stipends included.
Qualifications
- Active WI or compact RN license required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required.
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/Med‑Surg Telemetry acute care experience.
- Prior travel nursing experience required.
- Stepdown (PCU) specialty exam and skills checklist required for consideration.
- Epic EMR experience required.
- Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start.
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start.
- US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration.
Responsibilities
- Stepdown/PCU RN for a night shift assignment.
- 13-week assignment on a 19:00-07:30 night shift schedule.
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) coverage required.
- Placement on a PCU or Med‑Surg/Tele unit based on the traveler’s skill set.
- Floating within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed.
