Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) in North Carolina. The assignment covers various general surgery cases with complex patient needs and floating to additional units as required.

Requirements include NC or compact license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and the ability to float regionally. Local/travel compromise, shift 12 hours, 13 weeks, 1:4-8 nurse/patient ratio; flu vaccine required after submission.

Competenze

• Required skills include trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, NG tubes, ostomy care, drains, wound care, continuous bladder irrigation, tube feeds, and cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Mansioni

• Care for patients with small bowel obstructions and general surgery cases (colectomy, colon and small bowel resections, nephrectomy, hysterectomy, mastectomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, splenectomy, thyroidectomy).
• RN patient ratios are 1:4-6; may be 1:7-8 during surge times.
• Float to Med-Surg units and ICU as needed.
• Follow unit protocols for patient safety and infection control.
