Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking a Night Shift RN for CCU in Iowa, requiring 3 years CCU experience and an IA or compact RN license. The role is a travel assignment with Nights, 3x12s, 36 hours per week, starting ASAP for 13 weeks, with 2 openings.

Experience with MEDITECH EMR and ability to titrate multiple drips is essential. BLS/ACLS required; TNCC/NIHSS/PALS preferred. Night shifts include weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CCU experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required.
• Active RN license (IA or Compact) required, with willingness to wait for licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required.
• TNCC, NIHSS, and PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hospitals CCU unit with 6 beds; manage 1:2–1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios.
• Titrate drips (Cardizem, insulin, norepinephrine) and monitor telemetry.
• Night shifts 7pm start, 3x12-hour shifts on a 6-week cycle; weekend coverage required.
