Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist for a night shift travel assignment in Front Royal, VA. The role requires 2+ years of general CT/X-Ray experience and ARRT R and CT certifications.

You'll work in the ED Imaging Department, covering CT, XR, and Portable XR, with a patient load of about 2 per hour. Schedule is Fri-Sun nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with no on-call or float requirements and a generous housing allowance and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a general CT/X-Ray Tech.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT R and ARRT CT certifications required.
• VA state license required if applicable.
• Experience with IV placement and power injector.

Responsibilities

• ED Imaging Department covering CT, XR, and Portable XR.
• Inpatient and ED patient population across a 24 med surg, 12 CCSD, and 21 ED bed facility.
• Patient ratio of 2 per hour.
• Uses GE Revolution 64 CT scanner with Bayer power injector.
• EPIC EMR system.
• Fri, Sat, and Sun 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Weekend coverage required every Saturday and Sunday.
• No on-call requirements.
• No float requirements.
• Perform CT and general X-Ray imaging with compassion and collaboration.
• Scrub color: Caribbean Blue. Adhere to dress code.
• Candidates must live outside a 65 mile radius; local candidates not accepted.
