Qualifications

• 6 months operating tractor trailers and/or heavy equipment.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Ability to follow instructions in English and work flexible shifts, including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers to and from dock doors according to supervisor or shipping office directions, following safety standards.
• Check/set trailer and yard temperature; refuel if needed.
• Perform daily inspections on spotter truck and equipment and report defects to the appropriate department.
• Maintain logs of trailer movements and fueling, and communicate daily trailer movements to relevant teams.
• Perform sanitation duties on trailers as assigned.
• Report irregularities in trailer inventory and assist with log forms.
