Job summary

Colorado Academy is seeking a full-time Night Time Custodian to maintain cleanliness of classrooms, bathrooms, and common areas. The position runs 4pm–12:30am with breaks, and includes event setup assistance. A high school diploma and strong English communication are preferred, with custodial experience encouraged.

# Night Time CustodianDenver, CO 80235## OverviewSalary Range$19.40 - $19.40 Hourly## DescriptionThis is a full-time, 12-month, benefit eligible position that reports to the Custodial Supervisor. This is a non-exempt, hourly position. The hours for this position are from 4pm-12:30am with a half an hour lunch break and two 15-minute breaks.Duties & Responsibilities:* Daily duties as assigned* Clean bathrooms* Clean Classrooms* Clean office spaces* Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming etc.* Assist with event set ups including cleaning the dining hall or other spaces as designated.* Other duties as assignedEducation & Experience:* High school diploma or equivalent* Strong communication skills in English preferred* Custodial Experience PreferredKnowledge, Skills & Ability:* Ability to make decisions and problem solve relative to urgency.* Ability to prioritize and coordinate a multitude of tasks* Attention to detail.* Ability to work independently and under stress making time sensitive decisions.* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.* Ability to follow oral and written instructions.Physical Requirements:* Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.* Stand for long periods of time.* Ability to lift, pull, & push up to 50 lbs.* Ability to stand on your feet for up to 8 hours* Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the outdoor elements.All employees at CA are expected to carry out the CA Mission, \"Creating Curious, Kind, Courageous, and Adventurous Learners and Leaders,\" to support the vision of the Upper School, and to contribute to the life of the school outside of the classroom.
