Select Specialty Hospital - Augusta is seeking a Telemetry Technician for full-time night shifts in Augusta, GA. You will monitor patient rhythms, respond to alarms, and perform EKG interpretations with RN validation.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Pass required competencies on education platform within the education system.
• Preferred background as LPN, Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training.

Responsabilités

• Continuously watch and respond to alarms, verify rhythm identifications, and manage EKG monitor alarms.
• Observe all monitors and respond promptly to alarms.
• Perform EKG interpretations: rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QT, ST segments, and rhythm interpretations.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
