Qualifications

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Cardiac monitoring interpretation and communication with clinical staff

Responsibilities

• The MT is responsible for cardiac monitor surveillance for all telemetry units as assigned.
• Reporting of any arrhythmias and potentially lethal rhythms to a Registered Nurse following guidelines.
• Interacts directly with physicians regarding the interpretation of cardiac rhythm patterns or changes.
