Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. You will assist the surgeon, registered nurse and anesthesiologist, delivering direct patient care before, during and after surgery, acting as instrument assistant and, under supervision, as circulating assistant.

Schedule: .60 FTE (24 hours/week) with night shifts and variable days. Previous graduation from a recognized surgical technologist program is required.

• Graduate of a recognized surgical technologist program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care before, during and after surgery as part of the surgical team.
• Assist as instrument assistant and, under supervision, circulate as needed.
