Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring a Food Clerk to join our Fresh departments. Build positive connections with customers and teammates, help shoppers find what they need, and keep displays fresh and inviting.

You’ll stock, rotate, and merchandise product, use technology to complete tasks, and follow food safety and quality procedures. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required; we train and support growth.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
