Job summary

Shaw’s and Star Market in New Hampshire is hiring a Stocker to keep shelves stocked and the store ready for customers. You’ll work on the floor during the day and handle deliveries and backroom organization for overnight shifts, ensuring displays are reset and aisles remain clear.

Applicants should have basic math and communication skills, be 18+, and be able to operate pallet jacks or similar equipment. Prior retail or stocking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks and balers following training and safety guidelines
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Availability to work flexible shifts including daytime, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves on the floor during daytime hours and assist customers with questions or locating items.
• During overnights, prepare the store for the next day by handling deliveries, restocking shelves and resetting displays.
• Move products from backroom to sales floor, rotate inventory and keep aisles clear for easy shopping.
• Maintain organization behind the scenes and ensure work areas are clean and safe.
• Follow safety procedures and stocking processes as part of daily operations.
