Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked and organized in a fast-paced retail environment. You will move products from pallets to designated shelf locations, manage back-stock, and support store operations with a focus on accuracy and safety.

You’ll work with leadership to meet deadlines, maintain cleanliness, and provide courteous customer interactions. Overnight shifts are required to prepare the store for the day ahead, with opportunities for growth and development

Qualifications

• Comfort with basic technology and store devices.
• Follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy teamwork and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back rooms.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
