Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to deliver excellent customer service and keep shelves stocked and organized. You will learn store processes, work with leadership, and handle tasks that ensure a smooth shopping experience for customers.

You’ll be stocking, moving products, managing backroom backstock, and maintaining a safe, clean environment, including overnight shifts to prep for the day. Meijer offers weekly pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn and use basic technology.
• Able to follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Team-oriented with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to shelf locations accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
