Job summary

Central Market is seeking an Overnight Stocker to stock grocery products during the established overnight hours while maintaining productivity standards. The role involves working with the Stock Controller to meet nightly goals, keeping back rooms and shelves organized, and ensuring proper product handling and rotation.

Qualifications include 3–6 months of stocking experience, a willingness to work overnight, and ability to operate a pallet jack.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months minimum prior stocking experience required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Prior experience working as part of a team required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates daily with Stock Controller to review nightly goals and tasks.
• Keeps Department clean and well organized (back room and shelves).
• Stocks shelves, refills displays and overall recovery.
• Executes proper recovery of department.
• Ensures compliance and execution of SOPs including product handling, rotation, storage, etc.
• Loads, unloads, and moves heavy, bulky products.
• Performs work efficiently and maintains productivity standards.
• Works efficiently and complies with production standards.
• Reports any pallet jack, forklift or other equipment issues to the Stock Controller or Overnight Operations Manager for resolution.
