Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Mishawaka, IN is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to help keep shelves stocked and ready for shoppers.

You'll apply product knowledge, deliver efficient service with a friendly attitude, and support daily merchandising tasks in our store environment. Your duties include stocking groceries, moving products from pallets to shelves, removing backstock, keeping aisles clean and safe, and partnering with leadership to finish tasks on schedule.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Organized, efficient work style following procedures.
• Able to stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a customer-focused attitude.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
